Inspired by my new hipstamatic pics that I talked about in my last post. I finally got around to filling this frame that I was given for Christmas. So far it has stood on display in our home nice and empty! lol!
Yesterday I printed out a couple of prints at home and one was the perfect size for the main square in this frame. I was tempted to add other pics to the other squares but then I love this one so much that I kinda wanted it to be shown off on it's own. So I filled the other squares with some of my favourite papers from the new October Afternoon ranges, I added the date on a stickers and our initials and it's done. A cute piece of scrappy art/photo coolness in our home.
I have loved all of Shimelle's post throughout her blog party but as soon as this sketch challenge I posted, I thought "yep, that's what I need, a sketch I can follow so I can get a nice quick layout completed"
This was the sketch and the challenge was to use the title "Happiness is...."
And this is my layout. Again I used a couple of hipstamatic photos and I love them. I printed these at home so they are about 2.5x2.5 and the quality is great this size. (Lets hope the next iphone upgrade gives us a better camera right?)
I used new October Afternoon (which I am still totally in love with) and those awesome chipboard letter stickers from Basic Grey. I know that they are expensive but my friend Sharon kindly sorted me out with a spare set that she had and I love them loads! So thank you Sharon!
And my new favourite punch... this EK scallop punch which punches a gorgeous large scallop in your papers. I bought this at the Studio Calico shop and had it shipped with my kit. That is one of the huge bonuses that that comes with the Studio Calico kits, there is also a huge shop that you can spend your pennies in and have it shipped for free with your kit!

You're welcome Laura. Thanks for the note ( I received it yesterday), the paper and envelope is soooo cute, do you mind me asking where you got it from?
That frame is fab, it looks great.
Layout and frame both gorgeous! Those photos are something else, I love the vintage effect.
Well done for all the studying, it is hard at times to miss out on the 'crafty fun' and do work instead - booo! I had to get loads of studying done as well - will all be worth it in the end i guess x
Love love love love love what you did with that frame!
