* * American Crafts over at Sarah's Cards * *

Today is my first blog post over at the Sarah's Cards blog

Go check it out for some ideas on using the awesome daydreams range by American Crafts and incoperating cards and envelopes into your layouts.

Here are a couple of sneeky peeks... but the whole post can be seen here

Today is also my due date!

Whoop!!!

Though I don't think that baby got the memo as she is still very much still in situ! I must admit that its a very weird feeling.  All these months I have looked forward and counted down to this date and now it's here and nothing is happening or has happened it's quite an anti climax.  It's like having an advent calendar for Christmas but then Christmas Day arriving and being told... oh actually it's not today after all... but it will be soon... we are just not sure yet... but hang in there... you will get your presents soon!

I am feeling ok and I am not at that desperate stage just yet.  I am looking forward to meeting her and seeing what she looks like but I am happy to give her a few more days.

Lovely pages over there, Laura. Especially love the Dear Baby one - what a cute idea. Maybe you could do another when Little Miss has arrived and compare the two? I don't think you can imagine that raw emotion when you first hold your baby; I know I was surprised (and still am) about how much I love(d) those little scraps. I'm grinning now because they are all grown up and I would still fight dragons for them if I had too. LOL. Hope it's not too long before she's ready to meet you both. Good Luck. Jude.x

Love your work, Laura! Hope you still find some time to scrap when she arrives. I found that it was quite easy at first when he was sleeping all the time. Now that he's about to turn five months he's awake a lot and rather demanding! Still, if yours is anything like mine he enjoys watching me scrap as long as I talk all the time and show him what I'm doing.

Hope she comes soon. My boy was 15 days late and they had to go and fetch him out! :(

Its a really odd feeling isn't it? (like so much of pregnancy!) Every time you feel any kind of movement or twinge you are wondering if this is it. Will this be your last meal before the birth? Or the last night of not being a mum? They all come along when they are good and ready and no amount of pineapple or curry will help, despite what people tell you! A couple of drops of clary sage oil in the bath can help as well as meditating and imagining the baby moving down as this relaxes you and helps you to feel like you are doing something! Trust your body that it knows what it is doing and you will be fine. Wishing you a wonderful birth and can't wait to see pics of you all together xx (PS did you do a bump cast?)
