* * Pretty Paper Party Giveaway * *

Firstly... a huge THANK YOU for all the wonderful comments about baby Abigail. We think she is pretty awesome and so far life with her in our famly has been a real joy.  Today we are having our first day totally on our own.  No visitors, no family, just us all day till Daddy comes home from work.  And so far, it's been great.  We had a lovely cuddle in bed this morning, didn't have to rush to get up, we wandered to the shops and the post office and now she is fast asleep on my lap giving me time to write a quick blog post!

Today I have a giveaway for you! * whoop * it's for Shimelle's brand new class "Pretty Paper Party"

Here are the class deets :

There are online classes for everything these days, and Shimelle has been teaching online scrapbooking classes for years - but she's decided it's time to kick it up a bit and go from online class to a four-week online party, and you're invited. Pretty Paper Party is the party to attend if you have a collection of paper stacked up for a rainy day, if you have more scraps of paper than you know what to do with (but you know you don't want to throw them away!) and if you've ever put a piece of paper back in your stash because it was just too special for the photos at hand. Through printable prompts and tutorial videos, Shimelle and dozens of special party guests will share beautiful and innovative techniques you can achieve with the paper you have already collected.

I have been invited as a special party guest and have contributed a layout for the class... and here is a sneeky peek...

The party actually starts today... so let's get this giveaway going so the winner can join in as soon as possible! (though of course, with any good party, you can always arrive fashionably late!)

To enter the giveaway : All you need to do is leave me a comment on this blog post... as the party is all about paper... just tell me your favourite paper collection of all time!

The closing date : noon tomorrow! lets get this done in 24 hours! So that's 12.00pm on 18th October!

FYI : If you have already signed up for the class you can still enter the giveaway as if you win then you can have your class cost refunded or gift your free place to a friend :)

Hi Laura,

First of all: congratulations with your cute little daughter! She's so adorable!

I was linked to your blog by Shimelle's and now I see your great give away, so I just must give it a try!

My alltime favourite papercollection is from October Afternoon: Detours. It's one of the first collections I bought.

Kind regards,
Marianne

My all time favourite collection has to be Basic Grey Blush - I adored it and used so much of it, it was the first collection pack that I ever bought and began my love of all things Basic Grey. I only have scraps left now so will have to use them on cards - I will be so sad when I have none left.

I confess, I am quite new to scrapbooking so haven't got an 'all-time fave', hope thats OK? I do love the grungy/70's look though so anything by Tim Holtz should fit the bill!

(Enjoy your first 'me & baby' time, it feels goood to chuck everyone else out once in a while!)
